Yeahhhhhhh, we found another T-shaped street sign in Haven Street, Causewaybay 銅鑼灣希雲街 😱 How old is it? The Chinese text on this sign is read from right to left, it is at least half a century old. (Chinese text was written from right to left in the past, it is now normally written from left to right.)

These old street signs are disappearing quickly as a lot of old buildings were demolished. Some are even being stolen. There were 50 road signs disappeared solely in 2011.

Apart from T-shaped street signs, which was made of iron as shown in the photo here, there are also older ones, which were made of cement and porcelain tiles. These are mainly found on the Hong Kong Island. See how many you can find during your next visit to Hong Kong 😊
